"Spent before lent"

Films: Lumberjack Man (2015)

Alias: Nehemiah Easterday

Type: Natural

Location: Forest

Height/Weight: That of an average human.

Affiliation: Evil

Summary: The lumberjack is what one might consider the ideal serial killer of the woods. That or the epitome of human strength there. Either way, you'd better pray they don't go bad at any point. Or get bonkers powers.

History: Nehemiah Easterday was a reclusive lumberjack who contented himself with eating a special pancake recipe before each Lent. Unfortunately, a man killed him in order to get his recipe by drowning him in his own syrup. Coming back as a vengeful revenant, Easterday vowed to kill anyone who dares come into the woods, as well as eat his pancakes before lent due to that somehow giving him more and more power each year. His most recent target is a Church Camp.

Notable Kills: The most sickening Twister game ever, him keeping a person in pieces still standing for a sick trick, a guy getting sliced in half so that his lower half can run around bleeding and his upper half stare at the killer in disbelief, and an officer getting his heart ripped out and forcibly fed to him.

Final Fate: An ancestor of Easterday's killer confronts the undead menace, and the clash ends with stuff blowing up, and the lumberjack seemingly being destroyed.

Powers/Abilities: By using the blood of his victims as syrup for his special Lent pancakes, he grows stronger with each year, to the point where he could potentially become invincible.

Weakness: Heavy artillery.

Scariness Factor: 4-Just by looking at this guy's burly figure and intimidating red eyes (though his wood mask is a bit silly), you know he's bad news. Then you learn he's an angry nigh-unkillable spirit who loves to murder in gruesome ways, and you'd better run for the hills. Also, pancakes are power. Go figure.

Trivia: -A whole viral marketing campaign was launched to promote this film, getting the attention of guys like the Angry Video Game Nerd himself, James Rolfe.

-Easterday's affinity for pancakes could come from a common concept that ghosts manifested from the things they held dear to them the most, such as how some furniture is considered haunted at times.
